Tommy's West Restaurant

Four of us went at 2pm on a Saturday. Some ordered lunch and I ordered breakfast. All the food was very good...but the cinnamon rolls were AMAZING! They are huge (about 6-7" in diameter), delicious, soft and frosting is just right. I bought 6 cinnamon rolls to take home and share with family. Friendly, fast service. Very good food. Love how spacious the restaurant is. My childhood memories were of going to Tommy's on 1st Avenue. It was fun to visit Tommy's at this location and see the mural.

A friend and I had breakfast Saturday morning!. The ham and cheese omelette, crispy hash browns, and pancakes was incredible!. Our waitress was awesome and kept our coffee full. Great place to eat, the breakfast was their daily special which I thought was quite reasonable! Great atmosphere, great food, great service, Priceless!. We will definitely be back! Definitely

Stipped for breakfast before we did some home repairs. Kelly was an amazing, friendly fast server, coffee was hot and full at all times, waters always filled, and then the food... so many goodies, the cinnamon roll! Obnoxious and delicious! Perfect finisher to my coffee. (I only ate half there, it was huge!)

Not from this area. I stopped at a local gas station and asked someone local where to go. I told them what I was looking for. A place that was "hole 8n the wall" with good food and service. This place was not a hole in the wall.. but they were right, the food and service was outstanding!! Our 1st visit, we will definitely return. They make such good food, down to the jellies and or jams. The deserts look to die for too. Great job to the ownership and staff. 5 stars

I found this place on Google Maps a while back and gave it a try and it is really good. The service is great prices reasonable and the food excellent and you won't leave hungry. They have pies cookies and bars for sale. I haven't tried them yet but they look really good. It's certainly worth stopping by.

FAVORITE local restaurant in all of Cedar Rapids! Amazing food, amazing portions, amazing people working there. 10 for a bacon cheeseburger, massive portion of a side, and a drink? Sign me up! And their kolaches are soooo delicious especially warmed up!

The first time we came to Tommy's and we replied, loved it! We intentionally saved room for a slice of chocolate cream pie and Strawberry Cream pie!! Excellent food! Excellent prices! Great atmosphere!!

Liver and onions may not be for everyone, but for those that want a better than mom made serving of this classic dish, Tommy's is the way to go. The rest of the menu is so diverse and tempting I could have easily went with something else, and not be disappointed.
